The Sangeet

One of the pre-wedding events organized at our Indian weddings in Italy is the fantastic Sangeet! We love this tradition. The celebration is comprised of music and dances performed in front of the bride and groom and guests. The Sangeet is usually celebrated the night prior to the wedding day for destination weddings in Italy. In this case the Mehndi takes place during the day, and the Sangeet at night. Besides a lot of fantastic music and dancing, food will also be served; which depending on the region, can either be Indian or Italian.
