THE PLACE | Florence’s premier villa – second to none. The historic villa, built in the early 1600s is world famous for its magnificent gardens. Overlooking the hills of Florence, only 15 minutes by car from the city’s center Villa Gamberaia enjoys an amazing position overlooking countryside and the Arno river. The gardens are open to the public for visits and the superb layout with its grottoes, Italian gardens, architecture and fountains has been drawing visitors for centuries. Main Villa: The main villa at Villa Gamberaia is available as a venue for Indian weddings. 18 guests can sleep in the 9 double bedrooms. Vacation Apartments: Villa Gamberaia has four manor houses on the property which have been carefully restored and converted into comfortable guest houses. These are furnished with family antiques, yet equipped at the same time with modern appliances and conveniences: Limonaia: accommodates 8 persons (4 double bedrooms) Nettuno: accommodates 6 persons (3 double bedrooms) Cappella: accommodates 6 persons (3 double bedrooms) Gamberino: accommodates 7 persons (3 double rooms and 1 single room), has its own private swimming pool. |

PARTY | Luxuriously-appointed reception rooms in the villa are available for wedding. |
MUSIC and DANCE | Outdoor music must end by 11:30pm, while in the court or in Limonaia until 2:00am and after 2:00am there is a surcharge. It is possible to dance in the court or in Limonaia. |
CAPACITY for RECEPTIONS | Up to 900 – indoors there are two halls that each hold 200 guests. |
